Cyclone Vance Photo Galleries

When Tropical Cyclone Vance stormed down the Kimberley and Pilbara coast and finally crossed land at the bottom of the North West Cape the Karratha SES had already mobilised to assist in evacuations from Onslow and nearby communities. A small group of Karratha SES members stayed on in Onslow as a strike force on the ground ready to assist in the recovery phase after the cyclone had passed. As soon as it was safe further resources were mobilised and a huge operation swung into force for the towns of Onslow and Exmouth and the surrounding area.
