The Pilbara is in the north-west of
Western Australia and covers a vast area of 5100 square
kilometres. It is an area of great beauty and spectacular
scenery. It is also a land of great contrasts -
- clear blue ocean, offshore islands,
and coral reefs;
- mangrove forests, huge piles of red
rock and extensive grassy plains;
- dry river beds, tranquil river pools
and melaleuca forests studded with palm trees;
- spectacular rock gorges, running
waterfalls and fern fringed pools.
We hope that you enjoy the Pilbara scenery
as much as we do.
