CHANGE OF E-MAIL ADDRESS
The Shire of Ashburton now uses a different Internet Service Provider in order to reduce connection costs from STD to local calls. This means the Council has a new e-mail address. It is:
All e-mails to the old address will be redirected to the new address until the end of 1999 only.
DO YOU HAVE E-MAIL?
The Shire of Ashburton recently adopted a Marketing and Community Consultation Plan. One of the aims of the Plan is to increase the level of communication between the Council and the community, which is designed to:
 | keep the community informed of the latest issues the Council is dealing with; |
| provide details about forthcoming events and community meetings organised by the Council; |
| provide information on the decisions made at the monthly Council meeting; |
| seek community feedback on programs and policies proposed by the Council. |
One of the means by which this communication can be facilitated is through E-mail. If any resident, ratepayer, business or community and sporting group has E-mail and would like to be on the Council’s E-mail mailing address please forward your E-mail address to Council’s Senior Administration Officer, Mr David Ashton at the Tom Price office on (08) 9189 1029 or e-mail: soa@norcom.net.au
