A public display of the plans for the Tom Price Town Centre Townscape Project was set up in the shopping mall area in Tom Price between 27 April and 9 May 1999.

After all of the comments have been received and adjustments made to the plans, an overall plan will be adopted for the Tom Price Town Centre together with a more detailed plan for the Stage 1- the Shopping Mall Area.

Council hopes to start implementing the new plans in the 1999/2000 financial year and will need the support and help of all the community.
