The Shire of Ashburton will replace the light globes at Peter Sutherland Reserve in Paraburdoo.

At its April Meeting the Council was advised that the globes have deteriorated to a standard that makes usage of the oval at night unsafe.

Funding of $15,000 had been set aside to replace the globes at the Tom Price Oval, however the Council agreed to reallocate this money to provide for the lighting upgrade at Paraburdoo.

The globes at the No 1 Oval in Tom Price will now be replaced following adoption of the 1998/99 budget in July.
