For the tourist there is much to do and see during a trip to Tom Price.
The climate is almost perfect with low humidity and an average maximum winter temperature
of 28(C and summer temperature of 35(C. Tom Price is a haven for the traveller. It is a
picturesque, modern and fully serviced town.
No trip would be complete without a visit to Mount Nameless which, at 1128
metres above sea level, is one of the highest accessible points in a 4WD vehicle in the
State. Situated four kilometres from town it offers panoramic views of the entire area
from the summit. It is only open during daylight hours.
There are many spectacular views of the pre-historic land first encountered by
Europeans when Francis Thomas Gregory explored the area in 1861.
The gorge country in the Karijini National Park has been etched over billions of
years through the scorched red rock.
You will see crystal clear pools (some set in permanent shade and too cold to
swim in), waterfalls and a huge variety of plants, animals and bird life which make a
fascinating and beautiful combination.
The best way to experience the Park is via the walking trails. These are mapped
and marked according to difficulty and lead the visitor to lookouts, beautiful tracks
through the bush or down into the gorges themselves.

also a walking trail to the summit which can be reached via the Caravan Park. The walk
involves a bit of climbing, however there are rails along these areas. It takes about I1/2
hours to reach to the top going at a medium pace.
