Council currently employs two full time Rangers, Tom Price (1) and Onslow (1) as well as a trainee Ranger in Onslow. The Tom Price Ranger provides services to Tom Price and Paraburdoo and the Onslow Ranger is responsible for Onslow and Pannawonica.

Rangers are Municipal Law Enforcement Officers and they are responsible for enforcing various Acts of State Parliament and Council's local laws.

These include the:

Dog Act.

Litter Act.

Control of Vehicles (Off Road Areas) Act.

Local Laws Relating to Dogs.

Local Laws Act.

Various Council local laws relating to camping, beaches, parks, reserves, buildings, etc., under the control of or vested in Council.
